THE MICE by Roger Mason is a 400-page sci-fi graphic novel, three-quarters completed, which tells the story of the giant alien factory Order Nine and the humans who live there. Book one is entitled The Factory Menace, book two Culture Shock, book three Tamper Evident, book four to be confirmed. Each book is around 100 pages long. As of January 2019 The Mice is no longer available from Scar Comics, who distributed The Factory Menace and Culture Shock on a limited print run to shops across Britain.

Books one and two have been reviewed:
‘Thick with satire, irony and humour, The Mice is a rare gem, and if you’re the sort of person who likes to talk about the artistic credentials of sequential art as social commentary, or you simply like good sci-fi well told, then this will make you grin.’ Starburst

‘This is smart science fiction.’ SFX magazine

‘Multi-layered and thoughtful; a great read…’ Forbidden Planet

‘There’s nothing else like it . 4/5 stars’ Sci Fi Now magazine
